CIS Process is One of the Three ST's Manufacturing Pillars

EETimes: ST announces its restructuring strategy. When asked about manufacturing strategy, ST CEO Carlo Bozotti told analysts there is a three-legged manufacturing strategy for Crolles, all fundamental for the future of the company.

One of the legs is CIS process – a part of ST's business that had been under a strategic review in 2010. At that time it had been decided to adopt a policy of application diversification and that this has been successful, Bozotti said. ST has multiple design wins in automotive and elsewhere, he added.

The other two legs are embedded non-volatile memory and FDSOI processes.

    1. Google Blogger engine apparently changed its spam filtering engine. Now it filters only about 90%, where it used to be 99% or so. For the last week alone there were about 320 spam comments, from what you have seen, may be, 30.

For now I have 3 choices to stop the spam:

      1. Wait a couple of months till next revision of Google spam filter in hopes it will stem the hole.
      2. Add captchas that everybody needs to recognize. Hopefully this stops automated spam postings. This will make commenting more effort-full for everybody.
      3. Add moderation, when each comment waits for my approval. It might take many hours, especially when it's night over here. Then the discussions would be much less dynamic.

So, for the time being, I'm going with option 1. Let me know if you have a better idea.
